Curriculum Vitae

Darya Gerasimenko is a Professor for Sustainability Science at Samara (State Aerospace) University (SSAU), a Senior Researcher in Green Economy at the Institute of Technology and Public Policy (ITPP) with Prof. Bruno Oberle (Chair for Green Economy and Resource Governance) at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), and a Lecturer in Economics at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). She is a graduate from the MILE programme 2008 (summa cum laude) at the World Trade Institute in Bern (WTI). She holds a PhD in Political Economy from University of St. Gallen (2015). Her research interests are focused on sustainable economy transformation and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). In particular: green (sustainable) economy transformation and the role of technology, political economy of sustainable development, sustainable governance of natural resources, sustainable cities, sustainability policy, green public procurement, trade and investment policies in post-soviet area (CIS region), Russian (and BRICS) trade and industrial policy, green industrial policy, bilateral investment treaties (BITs), regional integration, and trade in (green) services.
